The Nafud desert, or the Great Nafud, is located in the northern part of the Arabian Peninsula between the city of Hail, Tayma and Dumat Al-Jandal, on an area of 65,000 square kilometers. The great power played historical significance in the past, as the great power constituted a natural protection for the Arabian Peninsula from the attacks of the powerful kingdoms in the north such as the Romans and the Persians.
There is no doubt that the great power played a large role in the history of the Arabian Peninsula and still bears some traces of very ancient human activity.
